This black/white transmission densitometer supplies
transparency measurements of continuous-tone, line and screened half-tone films in
reproduction and phototypesetting work. It can measure densities up to D
6.00 and dot
percentages (positive or negative) with an accuracy of +/- D 0.01.
The large measurement table has an illuminated surface of 37.5
x 31 cm, and the measurement
arm is 32 cm long. Zero setting is automatic, and the slope factor is adjusted and tested
by pushbutton operation. No screwdriver, no potentiometer!
The three measuring diaphragms of 1 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm diameter, and the slit diaphragm
(for phototypesetting) are interchangeable simply and rapidly. |
